We gather together on the first Tuesday of every month for “Desert Morning”, a time of input and reflection. Many spiritual traditions recognise “the desert” as a symbolic place of reflection and withdrawal in order to be refreshed to re-engage with the joys and challenges of daily living.
Come and join us at 20 Jensen St, Hughes, from 9.30-11am, for reflection and a simple morning tea.
Open Prayer is held every fourth Monday evening at St Alban’s Anglican church, Chappell St, Lyons, from 7pm.
As the name suggests, it’s open to anyone who might like to join with the L’Arche Genesaret community for a time of prayer and community connection. Each evening usually follows a particular theme, is inclusive of people with an intellectual disability, and involves singing and contemplative silence.
L’Arche Gensaret is non-denominational and welcomes people from all faiths & spiritualties and those with no particular religious belief or affiliation.
